Nebulizer Treatment When to do ::: I have a question whether it is OK for the nurse to treat nebulizer while the global brain-damaged patient with tracheotomy is in sleep.

Hi PatientsFamily .

Does your loved one have a lung condition? If so what is the nature of their condition? A nebulizer delivers medication to loosen mucus, open the airways and can also administer antibiotics to treat infection. In short it can help make breathing easier. You should discuss your concerns with the patient's doctor.

Warm wishes,
