Any Advice on Working in Chilled Environment

Only been diagnosed with Mild/Moderate COPD recently but have just started work in a supermarket to I keep more active. Whilst it is physically quite challenging having not worked for nearly 4 years I am going in and out of a chilled room frequently to restocking chillers in the actual supermarket, so again breathing cold air.

Whilst I have not noticed any problems so far it is only early days but I am wondering if I should be doing this at all and is this environment going to do more damage.

Any advice would be appreciated

Do they not offer any protective equipment, always breath in through the nose warms the incoming air.

I get warm fleece to keep body warm and yeah understand about breathing through nose but that is not easy when you have sinus issues as well. Thanks
