OK so I'm coming up to my 2 year lungaversary! I had a single lung transplant and my other lung completely removed.
I am suffering extreme pain in both sides today to the point it has brought tears to my eyes. I want to know if this sort of pain is normal so long after a transplant?
Yes I have a fantastic team at Newcastle who I see every four months I think I will be ringing the transplant team tomorrow if I am still in pain. Thankyou for your replies.
Hi Hun, You must contact your Transplant Team at Freeman ( A Great Hospital), I am on the QE Birmingham Trx List, My 2 Friends had their Double Trx at Freeman plus another at QE., Lisa had hers 2 years ago also at freeman. Best you call them as soon as you can. My Very Best Wishes to you Hun. Please keep us Updated. Carolina XXXXX
Hi Emma, 2 years and 4 months. Never had a Call. I had Lung Reduction in June with 4 Valves inserted. Trying to keep as Fit & Positive as possible whilst waiting, I'm on Oxygen 16 hours a Day. Hope you get sorted Hun. xxxx
Thank You Emma, I have been contacted by a Freeman patient recently he had waited 4 1/2 Years, I don't want to be waiting much longer Hun, Time is not on my side. You must get that pain sorted, Your Daughter and Little one's are your inspiration, Like mine are. Just had my Granddaughter here for a Holiday last week. They are Spanish. I wish to be there with them. I await my call every day. Lots of Love and Hugs . XXXX
If you have not already done so , contact a doctor or 111 for advice. Or attend a walk in clinic if you have one near. If it gets worse call an ambulance
