Hello my friends .. I do hope you are as well as can be .. just a quick question this fine morning..

Started taking Clarithromycin my second antibiotic in two weeks .. does anyone get the heart flutters? Is it just me? ..

Yes I did, they're are lots of odd side effects you can have with those ones, although some people don't get any. But it's not unusual to get a flutter or racing heartbeat with them, it usually wears off after a while. They are very good though at hitting the infection so if you can cope with side effects you'll probably find they're worth it.

Hi candyred yes had heart flutters on it and the rest remember ringing out of hours doc told me to stick with it that it was a strong antibiotic and would do the job so I persivered and it cleared my bad chest infection other side effects nightmares and diahreia. Take care xxx

Yes I got missed heart beats on Klaricid

Never had a problem. Took a long time to persuade my GP to change my antibiotics was on amoxicillin which did nothing. Went on toClarithromycin and they do seem to work quickly only used one lot and my chest infection seemed to clear up quickly. GP has now put them in my rescue pack. No problems so happy at the moment
