Hi I've wrote only a few times but always read post . I was diagnosed 15 years ago with copd bronchitis,emphysema and of course asthma from being a child the other 2 just followed on in later life ( guess that was lucky,,,not) . What I'm getting at is for the past 6 to 7 years my fev1 have been between 30 and 27%, I know I will never get better and my lungs are too badly scared to offer some kind of operation what we have to do is try not to get any worse. If you smoke stop if you can excercise then do it as much as possible even if it's just a few steps. Don't ever give up on your self I'm only 51 years young
