I have C.O.P.D, but suspect the inhalers I use - and I've tried many- all give me what I believe is known as Brain Fog. I also suspect they can cause other medical problems. My Doctor tells me all inhalers contain steroids. I would like to know [a] if anyone else has similar problems and are there any alternative treatments I can try?

Ive been using inhalers for ten years now without any exceptional side effects. However oral steroids play havoc with my sats
"My Doctor tells me all inhalers contain steroids."
Your GP is wrong, unless he is referring to all your "own prescribed inhalers". I have 3 inhalers and only one of them contains corticosteroids. Only very small amounts of the inhaled corticosteroids will ever enter your system anyway.
What are your sats? Low oxygen levels would make you feel brain fog. Oddly whenever I have been on oral steroids I have felt brilliant! Not all inhalers do contain steroids by the way, Ventalin (Salbutamol) does not.
