Ever since my wife died
And I've lived here on my own.
I've employed a lady cleaner
To help clean up my home.
She comes on every Monday
At nine o'clock till noon
And cleans and does my washing
So she'll be here soon.
The problem that I'm having
Makes no sense at all.
I spend all Sundays cleaning up
So I'm ready for her call..
My cleaner says one of the ladies she cleans for get her daughter to clean up a bit before she calls 😂😂
As soon as I see your name come up I think oh I must read it it’s one of Don’s brilliant rhymes, funny brightens my day.

Apt as always Don, but I call it tidying up so the cleaner can get at everything that needs cleaning, without wading through all the bits and pieces that have resurfaced since her last visit!

I think that is a "man's thing".. So you show you've managed well doing other daily duties,but need her help with the cleaning and laundry.. All I can advise, is you pay for these services (hang on,its not meant to sound as bad as it appears!!) and she hopefully cleans all the places that any man may forget. Likewise with your laundry, if she does a great job,well you are proper sorted Don.

She brings me two meals, prepares one for me and puts another in the fridge for tomorrow and often brings some fresh veg for me from her allotment. Her husband is a taxi driver who brings her and takes her home. I like to think that it’s to check that there’s no hanky-panky going on, but I think it’s more likely he’s checking I’m still alive and he’s not left her with a corpse in the house. 🙄

I’ve taken a bit of a risk writing about my cleaning lady, especially with that picture which looks nothing like her. I’m not going to risk upsetting her husband who is quite a big fella. Midge would never forgive me if he stopped her coming, she is Midge’s most favourite person.
No problem Don....we never want to upset the gorgeous Midge now do we!?!? Our Lives dont need anymore upsets do they.
I bet she gives Midge some treats and all 😉

Haha Don.. yes I always clean before the cleaning lady comes 😃 well I tidy up let’s say then I let her do things I can’t do anymore..

Oh yes. I recognise that. Our cleaner is on holiday this week. What a relief not to have to bustle around and tidy up. We even stayed in bed for ages....
But having said that she is worth her weight in gold and I love the house when she’s been.
