I haven't posted here of late.
In fact I've tried to hide.
Apart from all my bodily ails,
I think my brain has fried.

Nice to see you back Don
I think the hot weather is having that effect on all of us who find breathing hard work at the best of times . I’d love a cool breeze and a refreshing shower of rain . I feel sorry for all those people who have to work in this heat ,especially those brave souls out fighting the moorland fires . Thinking of you and Midge 😊
Join he club, my brain has been fried since we had the hot weather. Went to the coast yesterday. My wife and daughter have nagged me for ages to get a mobility scooter as I cant walk far in this heat. I got a boot scooter and the trip down the prom was great no stopping every 30 metres or so. There was an onshore wind so it was really cool. Our only disappointment was that our favourite café had closed and the alternative was a Starbucks type place.
Take a rest till it cools down a bit Don, you'll soon get back into your stride 'wordwise' once this hot spell is over. I hope Midge is keeping cool.😊
You take care Don and hope Midge is keeping cool. Xxxx
Ditto Don, Only mine has been poached - in both senses of the word!
Yep Don,I'm going to agree with you and the other members... its too hot. Our dog Hazel, has had quite enough really and spreads herself out on the cold floor.....I just may join her!
Even my cat Tinker does! Something when it's too hot for a cat.
Hello Don, nice to see you back, you make me smile. ✋️😁xx
That looks very much like "Kilroy Was Here".

Ha ha ha! Our age is showing again, Pete.
Hot weather doesn't help does it. Sunday 24th laid me out. Take care of yourself.
Oh that is brilliant, considering the current heatwave. Really made me laugh.
Still bad in Greater Manchester with the 🔥 you can smell the smoke as soon as you open the front door. With the high temperature on top it's no wonder you feel your brain s fried
Mine too Don ! Sheila xx
Glad to see you back, Don! My brain's fried as well! Take care. xx Moy
It’s so good to see you back, Don. I can understand the feeling of frying in this weather. I’ve definitely been firing because my own internal thermostat is competing with the sun to see who can heat me up the most - I have a chest infection with a temperature of 103 degrees F!
