Have you been to your g.p.? I have been having trouble with pleurisy, it is very painful and yours sounds similar. I have been given antibiotics but still have the cough. Less painful however, also now been prescribed something for pain and to try to prevent coughing. Hoping it works, I came on here as I was worried about all sorts{still am !). I have found this site and people on here help to get things in perspective. There are some very brave and kind people on here, who are struggling themselves and still try to be supportive of each other. I take my hat off to them all ...( and I like wearing hats ! Lol ). I have been sent for a chest x-ray, I think you need to see your g.p for relevant tests...it may be sorted quickly and not a big problem.
