Emphysema is grouped under COPD.

I understand what you mean teehaitch3 . If a doctor tells someone they have Emphysema and doesn't mention COPD it's quite possible they wouldn't understand. We are all such old hands at it we forget there are still people who don't know what COPD stands for. Sheila x
