I remember having the orange juice as a child in the 1950s.

I loved the cod liver oil and malt, thick and gooey on a dessertspoon. My sister hated it, but mum wouldn't let me have her portion.

I've just started taking malt extract with cod liver oil - AGAIN. Not taken it since childhood but I spotted some in Holland and Barrett and was tempted, I don't know if it's doing me any good but It tastes good😊

I think I got away lightly with been given free cod liver oil and orange juice .....my father was given a weekly dose of brimstone and treacle by his mother .
