I have a nephew who lives just a mile away from me who has invitied me to Christmas dinner. He and his partner will have a house full, just as my wife and I used to have many years ago. I'm a bit apprehensive to be honest, I've avoided such gatherings for years now. The good news is that Midge my dog is invited too. We shall venture in, hand in paw.
