"The Solent is full this week" Try sailing on the Broads in mid season, if you have a strong nerve, hundreds of stinkies (motor cruisers) to avoid, all skippered by people who have no experience and they are told it's like driving a car (not). Only ever had one collision and it was us that got hit, because I had nowhere to go to avoid them.

I will stick to my motorbike thanks lol xx

Thank you lovley we have walks in the week very late at night some of them ...we call them our freak walks bit crazy really pack a flask and chocolate and wander round the forest in the dark with flashlights taking pictures and listening to music on you tube generally Eric Clapton last night we were out wandering till after midnight but when it's warm it can be wonderful then when we find a pitch we use the pop up tent thingy and snuggle up with the flask of coffee and eat the chocolate lol xx we are bit mad lol

There is nothing to beat the calm and moods of a river. My favourite rive is the Cover that runs through Coverdale N.Yorks I fished there many times and got to know its twists and turns. I have watched the rare sight of an Otter, often kingfishers, and laid to rest in a grassy hollow with the sound of new born lambs bleating in the distance and the distinctive cry of a curlew.Catching fish never mattered. Long gone are the times when the Cover Bridge Inn was the part of a farm and after many unforgettable days they served home made teas, large brown boiled eggs homemade bread and butter with a selection of cakes and all for half a crown (12.5p) The best therapy for anyone.
