Hi Char,
I'm kind of new to all this so this is something new to me. I was told by a nurse that Medicare doesn't cover POCs, but obviously they were incorrect. Great to know they do! How does one qualify for a portable O2 system? I'm ok on the ground at sea level but I do desat to 89//91 on a 3-mile walk. Got a pulmo doc and explained to him my concerns about flying - long flight to Europe from the US. I'm getting a pft and a 6mwt Thurs and Fri and have an appointment with the pulmo doc on Monday.
