Personally I think it's got a lot to do with the air pressure coz I,m the same. As soon as it gets to around 6/7 early evening I use ventolin more . Someone on here said it was because it's because the pollen is settling but we,ve had rain for the last few days so I don't think it's that ?

Posture? And some heart problems worsen during sleep. I wake up several times in the night with breathlessness and chest pain.

Not sure what your medical problems but I had major problems at night and I am on a bipap and has worked wonders for me.

God bless you

I found that as I prepared to sleep I would start thinking about my breathing, that would start me on a minor panic attack,I put a spider plant and a small fan in the room.

I don't know if it's psychological but I breathe easier and don't even think about my breathing anymore.

Works for me but it might be worth a try.

Hope you find a way

Generally speaking, a lot of our body functions slow at night, ie, our cortisol level drops as does our epinephrine levels. That's one of the reasons we have more pain at night as well. I am on a bipap machine too and it does seem to help some. Also, I never drink alcohol at night as it disturbs my sleep. Hope this helps some!
