Sounds like 'referred pain' to me if heart issues have been ruled out.

Referred pain is pain that feels like its in one place but is caused by pressure on a nerve somewhere else. Shoulder pain & pins & needles commonly caused by arthritis in neck vertebrae or shoulder joint.

If your GP confirms this ask for a referral to a physiotherapist. It can be posture related (exacerbated) and can be cured/minimised.

Best wishes

Had something similar myself a few years ago, the Doctor arranged for me to have physiotherapy at the local hospital, it helped a lot, they also gave me some easy exercises to do at home, took a short time but gradually got better, possibly you could ask your GP when you get an appointment about whether physiotherapy would help

You need to speak with your GP. This could mean a number of things. In the context of your symptoms it could mean that they are not 100% sure that the x-ray shows the cause with certainty. It may mean there could be a soft tissue problem. You need to speak to your doctor or specialist to get a full explanation.

Perhaps asking the GP to ring you. It saves you time and energy and still gives you the answers you want.
