not too much you can do, everyone blows up, remember Jerry Lewis he used to be so skinny then he had to take steroids and he gained massive weight. My dr told me to keep the amount of salt to a minimum. If you get a good diet PLEASE SHARE

I eat mainly fruit and vegetables. And exercise. Have a piece of fruit instead of a packet of crisps. I went up two dress sizes when first dx with COPD in 2006 now I weigh 66kg

Good diet and excercise i found swimming treadmill and biking are good. Seemed to make my metabolism work faster and burn calories. I know how hard it is when on steroids I was on them at christmas. Lets just say the family buffets had no leftovers left and the cupboards were bare!! Switched to smoothies heqlthy cereal n healthy snacks

Reduced fat n dairy switcjed to non dairy milk. What fat i donhave is from meat etc dont eat chips now much. Have jackets n plenty of veg n fruit.
