Do not use do do pills ChestEaze very often but am finding they stopped production in 2015 is there an alternative on the market or do I have to join the doctors queue and hope to be seen this year any help will be appreciated

Hello asrobs and welcome.

You don't say what your problem is but, yes, I think you do need to get in the queue to see your GP. The best thing for helping you clear you your chest is Carbocistine, 375 mugs, two three times a day. Also make sure you drink plenty of water - you can get that without seeing your doctor. And look up the 'huffing' method of breathing and coughing on You tube - a bit noisy but it works.

I have never used tablets to clear mucus. I use saline solution through my nebuliser.

So do I NTB. Never found Carbocisteine very effective but saline nebs work for me.

To my recollection Chesteze was withdrawn because it contained a product used by bodybuilders and which could be dangerous in large doses. You would need to see your GP to obtain an alternative.
