Two ear infections?

So I've been sick for the past 3 days. And I had also gotten an ear infection so I took antibiotics but just recently my left side of my head started to hurt right where my ear is. This is not the ear where I had and ear infection. I just wanted to know if it's possible to get a second ear infection while on antibiotics

Hello Kaylee.

The last time I got an ear infection it was in my left. But I recall feeling a twinge in my right ear as well and thinking 'great, it's now in the other ear'. Thankfully it didn't get as bad as the left. If it is an infection the antibiotics should help. If there is no improvement I would see the doctor. I hope you feel better very soon.

Yes it is it happened to me I had to get some antibiotic eardrops which cleared it up x
