ACV.....still good.

14 days and counting. Trouble is my days are now at least 2 hrs longer as I do not have to sit and rest every 5 mins.. As I have spent years paring back my activities to only those that are needed I am at a bit of a loss as what to do with my time. No doubt I will find something. Went to a shopping mall and... was great to walk round as many markets as I wanted instead of going home after just the one. LIBERATION

Good to hear it is still working, although I cannot figure out why.

Hi Kevin,

I do not know why either,it just works for me. All I can say is that I am so so lucky but then again I have always been quite lucky but nothing like this. Shame I do not gamble, not even a lottery ticket.

Forgot to take the ACV Monday night and I thought my breathing was not quite the same in the morning but that could have been me over analyzing each breath, as most Copd suffers seem to do. Took the ACV and everything was ok. Probably was ok anyway but I was taking no chances. Have decided not the mess with my meds also.

I am sorry that I can not give you an answer. It would be wonderful if I could furnish you all with a formula and Hey presto! you are all cured, even the ones that try to give me a hard time on here bless`em.

Take care.

I think your lack of something to occupy your time was obvious yesterday. Your extra two hours could be used to help someone less fortunate than yourself, which would be a lovely gesture.

Hi

In the interest of shared knowledge which can benefit other members, what lung condition or other do you have that can benefit from AVC.

The dosage you are taking is normally for detoxification, the recommended dosages is two tsps of AVC with the 'mother' one or two tsps of honey in 200ml of distilled water three times a day. Which I tried for two weeks .

The use of AVC can also have a adverse affect if .

If You’re On Any Of These Medications, AVOID Using Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has actually long been used as a natural treatment for everything from weight problems to fungus. Though it does have some essential health advantages, it is essential to bear in mind that apple cider vinegar is not without its own negative effects. Since it’s a product of nature, apple cider vinegar can end up being hazardous if it is used with certain typical medications. For that reason, if you have these conditions, you must avoid taking apple cider vinegar.

The Health Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

There are many reasons for people to take apple cider vinegar. There is some proof to suggest that apple cider vinegar causes the stomach to empty slowly, making individuals feel fuller for longer and assisting to assist with weight reduction. A Chinese study also discovered that a high usage of ACV provided individuals a 37 percent decreased danger of establishing esophageal cancer.

Given that it is antibacterial and antifungal, taking apple cider vinegar orally or using it to your skin topically can assist to stop the development of a yeast infection or professional athlete's foot. Some studies have even linked the acetic acid in apple cider vinegar to lower blood pressure, decreased bad cholesterol levels, and even lowered cancer danger.

Though it does not work for all diabetics, some individuals find that taking apple cider vinegar has an anti-glycemic result that keep starches from being digested and triggering blood glucose spikes.

Medicines That React Severely to Apple Cider Vinegar

In spite of its lots of benefits, apple cider vinegar can still connect oddly with particular kinds of medications, causing unpleasant adverse effects. Many medications that connect with apple cider vinegar result in problems because apple cider vinegar tends to reduce potassium levels in the body.

Digoxin-- Digoxin, which is likewise offered under the name Lanoxin, is utilized for heart problems. apple cider vinegar can avoid the body from appropriately absorbing potassium, and potassium deficiencies can increase the negative effects of lanoxin. Negative effects consist of diarrhea, throwing up, lightheadedness, vision changes, and mood swings.

Diuretics-- Diuretic drugs, such as Diuril, Thalitone, Lasix, and Microzide, are used to deal with bloating, and they motivate the body to drop water. Potassium is very important for keeping the water balance in the body, so if apple cider vinegar is already messing up a person's balances of sodium and potassium, they may wind up seriously dehydrated.

Insulin-- Many diabetics control their blood sugar level by taking insulin. Despite the fact that some research study reveals that apple cider vinegar can help diabetics to stabilize their blood glucose, it should never be taken by a diabetic who also uses insulin. All at once taking insulin and apple cider vinegar can trigger exceedingly low blood sugar and potassium levels.

As you can see it would be of beneficial if the condition was known so members can make a informal choice.

That's an interesting article, especially about the fungus relationship. I wonder then if ACV would help clear the candida fungus which, I gather, can invade the respitory tract?

If people took notice of the possible side effects that all medicines COULD cause we would never take a pill. I suppose they are all listed to cover the manufacturer just in case.

I think there are lots of unknowns out there. Some work for some and some work for others.

I have been taking Mother ACV for a number of years now, twice weekly as it is too acidic for me. Supposedly it helps with the balance of alkaline and acid in your body.

Who knows.

Hubby was diagnosed with copd mild last year but I know he has had it for a number of years so in some respects I am glad that we have always eaten healthily and exercised. But we also take vitamins as I feel that when you get older I don't think these are absorbed into the body as well as they once did. There was a recent article regarding Vit D and how we should now be taking it as a supplement. Could this be down to the high factor sun cream being used.

Hi, I found an old bottle of cider vinegar in the cupboard so I have been giving it a go to see if it would reduce the amount of mucus I cough up.

But......I mixed the ACV bottle up with the cooking oil, should have gone to Specsavers, tipped the vinegar into the frying pan instead of the oil.....great fumes for clearing the sinuses!

Guess drinking the cooking oil with hot water and honey would have been a worse mistake.

Best wishes.

Hi, that's brilliant for you, how exactly do you take it, and how often? And is it a specific brand? Would really love to try it and see if I can get a positive result also. Take care, Christine. XXX
