just been to see another doctor nightmare now told i may have a broken rib so the test for copd will now have to wait.once again thank you all for your kind remark's and advice all take care you have all been a great help and so friendly again ty all

Poor you, jus-tme. It must be very confusing and frustrating for you. Hope they've given you something for the pain in your ribs? Look after yourself and be sure to let us know what happens.

Sorry you have broken a rib through coughing it happened to a friend of mine not happened to me yet hope the morphine works take care x
