Well its our beautiful beach for walks 3 afternoons a week and the other days its laps around our paddock. Creek at the back boundary eventually runs into the Ocean. The bench seat is for a catch ones breath pit stop and to sit and have a chat with my old dog who is buried there overlooking the creek. Warmest wishes to all Suz xx

What a beautiful tranquil setting Suz,how lovely having the bench there too, what a great position! Yes,great wind blowing,as long as it lowers the temp. Maybe a decent sleep, after all! xxx

Sitting under the camphor by the creek, quite a familiar past-time in these parts too. I used to help a guy make rocking horses and camphor always gave the the most interesting results.

That a beautiful tree. I shall wander round to

The Animal Cementry where Moss my

springer was laid to rest last Friday. I had a few friends round for a Wake for him.

He was nearly 13 but I'm grateful he stayed with me over Christmas and New Year.

Memories that are ours....Audrey xx

Hi Audrey, I'm so sorry you lost your beautiful Moss recently. Its heart breaking. My old fella passed away late last year and now my eldest Border Collie Chloe has cancer. She wasn't very good earlier today and I thought it might be the final visit to the vet but she bounced back this afternoon. While ever she is settled and eating etc etc I'm holding off but the days are numbered. She has given me the most beautiful gift her daughter. Both of them (my girls) are in the profile pic. Suz xx

Wow! What beautiful scenery! I'd love to walkamongst those beautiful trees.

My back yeard is the Thames estuary. It's been too cold and too windy to walk along the seafront. so i go to the gym instead! Thank you for the beautiful picture. Mic

Do you enjoy the workout at the gym Mic? Would certainly be convenient when the weather is too nasty to be out and about. What is your part of the Thames estuary like in the summertime? Suz x

Suz, You wouldn't believe that we re on the Thames. In my front yard, I have a lawn, then some clumps of trees. If I carry on 500 yards, this is my church (1296, rebuilt in 1850), behind is a field and a doggie walk, which is an area of scientific interest with a special butterfly that feeds on a preserved fennel! In the summer, the lark is really ascending!

Not only do I enjoy the gym, but this was a life saver after I was gravely ill in 2010.

That, and now the flute, are giving me both pleasure and self confidence. I had a good appraisal from my consultant. According to a CT scan, my bronchiectasis from severe as become mild! So YES to the gym! I love it. I like the static bike, but I also like the awesome equipment, lifting machines, pulling with the arms, pushing with the feet and the "burly cage" where you can pull and push weights galore. There is even a stack of weights. (I only lift 2 Kg!). I find it vital to get in shape.

I hope you are in shape too in your wonderful woods.

When a child, my mother told me everything about life, walking through woods around Brussels, Belgium. so I am glad to be by my clumps of trees along the Thames estuary! :-)

Hi Suz I just spotted your post! What a lovely back yard! I'd love to sit huffing and puffing ( as I do lol! ) with you on the bench after walking back from the creek! It looks like a wonderful resting place for your old faithful friend, a true Rainbow Bridge :) hugs huff xxx
