Hi,has anyone out there had the procedure named PulmonX? It involves the insertion of one way valves inserted to

isolate damaged areas of the lungs and hence volume reduction to enable easier breathing.

Question to anyone who has undergone it,was it successful, what side effects were there? etc.etc.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Nunton,

I had this done 3 years ago, with a fantastic improvement for me. Others have had the same op with lessof an improvement. It seems that the average is about a 40% improvement. I have written several articles about my experience, which have appeared on this site. You can see them by clicking on my name, then scrolling down the activities page. The first of them is :-
