Hi eyes, it's bloomin brill for me , packing up smoking was easier lol took me hours to work out how to put picture up of my dog, I'm getting there slowly with the techno stuff. X Sonia x

I have figured out how to delete and edit, but that's it for me...wish I could figure out other things too.......ah well, I am delighted I can sit and read all your posts .... and make the occasional comment. Hope you are well and VERY VERY VERY WELL DONE on giving up smoking......

Feels good when I master summet, my kids just laugh at me, I packed in smoking last November I do have a tooting pen to help, so cheated slightly sum would say. Hope ur well and take care. Xx

Believe me, this old person is totally disastrous on computers....my brain just can't fathom them out....and I panic when a question comes up so I turn everything off...how;s that for stupidity?? I can do emails though!

Good girl! I find that sometimes if I want to write a long post, I write it in my Office Word, save it. Then copy it and paste in here. If you 've saved it, you can always delete this later. But don't forget where you save it. Perhaps, you could create a folder on your computer that you call Healthunlocked, and save your responses there. When you don't need it, you delete.

When I got my first computer in 1997, the chap told me it's all there!!! I erased what I thought was not necessary, i.e. the programme that run the computer!

I didn't know then, that you don't do this, and that there is a programme you can buy to reinstall it if you erased the lot!

Of course, now, such programmes are without the reach of "nimble fingers" . You press the switch and the programme loads itself!

It took me three years to get the basics!

At least, computing is more intuitive today than it was in 1997! Yes, find a simple, good guide that you can learn from. It's a question of learning and then practice. Good luck!
