That was quite some time ago, and I haven't seen any updates. If any of you can, please let us know how this drug is working for you. I was prescribed this about. Month ago, so just wondering if most users still find it helpful with breathing after a longer time of use. Barbara
I have seen that some members are usi... - Lung Conditions C...
I have seen that some members are using eklira genuair. A few have said that they would post on how this drug was or wasn't helping them.
i have been on that for a year or more ,i can`t say wether it helps or not ,considering i`m also on atrovent ,seretde ventolin and uniphyllin.but i don`t suppose the doc would give it to me if it wasn`t doing some good. just keep on taking it it ca`nt make you any worse.
I trialed it for a month and hated it! I found it quite hard to breathe in hard enough to make the button pop up so got a lot of the gritty powder on my tongue and got the bitter taste. My respiratory nurse feels that I probably didn't get enough down into the lungs. My next trial is Seebri so will see how that one goes xx
is seebri easier to use ?
Will let you know Julie - I reckon it will be easier as it seems to be the same principle as the Spiriva handihaler and I managed that okay.
I was asked to try it instead of Spireva Respimat. Didnt think it was an improvement so opted to continue with Spireva.
I started off doing very well on it but after 6 months or so it got harder, (i kept getting a mouthful of grains like sand and didn't seem to be able to get it into my lungs anymore)not sure if they had changed it or if I got worse. So now they have me on seebri to try, so far so good and because it has a tiny mouth piece its easier to take!
Hi linsabout, I've been taking only for 1 month. Not sure if it's helping now or not. Worked great in the beginning. What stage of copd are you in? I've heard people say it's harder to breath in if your severe.
