I've been prescribed this medicine. I went to hospital on Friday for accessment for home oxgeon. My levels was only 86. I go back in 3 weeks for them to decide how much I need. Does this medicine interfere with your oxgeon levels.

Hi Michelle - As far as I am aware Theophylline will not interfere with your oxygen level. It is similar to caffeine and is designed to further open your airways. There are side effects though (I guess this is a given with most drugs). Google and you will see what they are. It is an old drug and works for many (but not everyone) with COPD. Good luck. Martin
