I suggest you check with your consultant, who can also issue a fit-to-fly certificate and does not charge, as most GPs do.
Yes if you have a fitnees to fly certificate. If you need to have oxygen you should check the airlines policy. Ryanair charge a lot. Most big airlines are free. Unless you have a portable concentrator the airline will supply. No bottles allowed. Stress bit about checking with airline well in advance.
I did - all the way to New York and regularly do shorter flights. It all depends on how your SATS are. Speak to your doctor, you may need a fit to fly test and on board oxygen but he will tell you that. You will need to consider insurance too. if you can though, go for it - life is worth living.
