Hi quite strange this one when I cough phlegm smells like disinfectant tcp am I going mad diagnosed with copd two years now never had this??

Some infections do have a nasty taste - maybe you should get a sample sent off.

I have a queer taste on my phlegm Hard to describe it. However I have realised that it is the first symptom of an exacerbation. Gives me plenty of time to sort out my antibiotics.

No your not going mad I have asthma I cough up mucus and phlegm a lot and I know how it feels sometimes I can make copd and asthma symptoms worse so I'm trying allergy treatments to help
