Hiya and welcome .. 78% is a good number but as with most things .. depends what you condition is
I'm having a bad time excepting I've got emphysema ,consultant said I've done well packing in smoking 9 years ago said I need no treatment says the cough I have is viral but I'm not sure I keep getting crackling in my throat and need to spit it out that's the reason I went in the first place it started with a cough when I was eating Chinese food this is reason I went docs in first place he sent me for X-ray there was tissue scarring then I had ct scan which showed mild emphysema x
Hi kensi18 ... Am a bit confused your doc said you had viral cough but give you know meds as viral means infection.
Only crackling is from server lung disease and docs would say is mild if sats are ok .. or chest infection .. Can i ask what you did for a living or have you had any lung injuries.
Is bit confusing how you can have xrays yet no meds for virul cough ...

Will you share more of your story there must have been a cause for taking tests and the members here are good at listening and supporting I know this as new here myself. dazisnotsogood has already said its not just about numbers its understanding how you feel and lots of help with that.
