I wear a little poppy. As red as red can be.

To show that I remember those who fought for me.

Brilliant x

It is a very solemn time of the year. I will be looking at some of the many programmes on the TV. My father was in the Bomb Disposal Squad of the Royal engineers. I never see a Military cemetery without feeling moved. The one nearest to me is the American cemetery at Cambridge. Rows and rows of crosses, and that is only one of many across Europe.

Thank you for that one Suzy6,there will be many services all over the world this week, we continue to remember those who fought for our peace to this day plus the many who have lost their lives since, trying to maintain peace world wide.

The Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance will be on at 9.15, it,s a very moving program, & watching all the old soldiers sailors & airmen & women march out to pay their respects I've always got a lump in my throat

God Bless each & every one of them, & the men & women still fighting for us today

Thank you Suzy6 for putting up this poem for them all

love from

Thanks all. Yes I remember them. Some of my friends grew up without their fathers who died in WW2. I watched the Festival of Rememberance. Today I will watch the Cenotaph and the March Past. Even my Husband who is a little hard hearted has tears in his eyes.
