I got an Invacare XPO2 provided for personal use. Your respiratory nurse should be able to prescribe a portable concentrator subject to an assessment for suitability.

I used the Invacare XPO2 when I had a Portable Concentrator. This was issued to me by my Respiratory team after assessment.

I had to revert to cylinders though when my required O2 was upped to 5litres.

Hi Gerry - you should be able to get what you need from your respiratory team - beware that the really small concentrators only go up to about 2lpm, so if you need more than that at any time you are stuffed! If you trigger the 'on demand' settings on liquid oxygen the flasks, which are very portable, can last quite a while, and you can refill when you want to.
