I hope things are going well with you as regards your health etc.

I had exactly the same trouble, with getting on this site, so downloaded Firefox (it's free - just click on 'Firefox' on the list and, go to the bottom of your screen and 'run' the programme).

I have always used Windows up until now but have not succeeded in updating it - I'm hoping that when my son comes home for the weekend he will sort things out for me.

My problem is that I use Firefox only to get into this site but for everything else I use Windows.

I'm a bit of a Luddite - I don't like it when things (which work) are changed!!

I am with you Annec dont like change but have no choice, for now I am just minimizing my screen and then clicking back in every time I want to go on saves having to go through the login process.

At least now I have found how to read the posts.

On my iPad several things just show as a black blob, my own avatar for instance.

I was amazed to see that when using the laptop, my avatar had turned into a psychedelic bunny where previously there'd been a white rabbit with a normal background!

What is very disruptive is the wretched green bar that keeps superimposing itself on my post while I am trying to write. It's as if it's teasing me LoL

I downloaded Firefox but had a yellow bar at the top of screen with Active X and had to click in order to give permission to download file.3 are also undergoing work this weekend. so My 3 is going to be awkward if run out of data. I use pay as you go with a SIM/ dongle.Couldn't top up today but seem to have free data. Very strange.
