Some people seem a little frightened about using oxygen nhs.uk/conditions/home-oxyg... why we need this and what it does.

I was actually looking forward to it as I knew it was to help my organs.

I agree with Puff, in fact my consultant told me they often find people on oxygen live longer because their organs are in such good condition! I am on fifteen hours a day and find it no hardship, 6pm to 8am and just the odd hour in the day usually when I am out as that leaves me free to potter round the house and garden without it. Keep smiling.
