Have you noticed that your hay fever affects your breathing?

For many people with lung conditions, hay fever (an allergic reaction to pollen) can affect their breathing and make lung symptoms worse. Pollen count is high at the moment so it’s important to get on top of your symptoms before they get more serious.

Thanks for sharing Claire!

I'm often confused whether my hayfever actually triggers my asthma, because I'm weird and have hayfever alongside non-allergic asthma. I was advised to keep on top of it anyway though by a helpful consultant who pointed out that postnasal drip wouldn't help even if pollen wasn't a direct trigger. So thanks for the reminder and link!

My hayfever definitely triggers my asthma.Last year no problems, this year has introduced me to loratadine.

Hay fever and pollen definitely triggers my asthma, I can literally smell when its going to affect me. I do spirometry everyday, and I can almost tell you the pollen figures where we are according to my spirometry. + I take so much medicine for it, which just about allows me to carry on as normal if careful.
