Numb Hands

Hi

I have been on lot’s of different meds to keep my chronic Asthma under control. Now after my last hospital stay on antibiotics, two of my fingers on my right hand are numb and if I use my left hand to help me up it feels like sore pins and needles or nerve damage.

Has anyone else had this.

Hi, yes I’ve experienced it from mild to not being able to write. According to my ent Dr. over time asthma meds deplete your vitamin B.

So I now take neurobion vitamin B injections every month and supplement it with the tablets everyday. Sometimes I take the injection twice a month.

I always feel the difference when I don’t have my vitamin B shot. The entire arm gets numb, tingly and hurts.

One time my entire right side of my body had “shut down”

Vitamin B is responsible for healthy nerve function. Neurobion is a brand. There are other brands not as expensive.

Hope this helps.

Hi. I understand it can be a side effect of antibiotics so I'd get it checked out. I had carpal tunnel syndrome once which is the exact symptoms you describe, but it got better by itself and was not due to my breathing problems.
