I never saw him play live but he was a brilliant performer and entertainer. Was shocked when I heard the news he had passed away. RIP Meatloaf and sending love to his family.

Yes, he was a good performer, be it as an actor or singing. I saw him a couple of times, I even remember his first appearance on the OGWT... I even wondered about his name on a Ted Nugget album (I thought it was a contractual thing where someone had changed their name)... this was decades before ol' Ted went nuts. It's a pity it's what he actually said he wanted. He said he was proud that he was hugging people all the way through the pandemic, he also said that if he caught covid and died, then so be it... he wasn't going to be controlled (?). He caught Covid 19 and it controlled his life to the point of extinguishing it. 74 is young these days. He played, lived & eventually died by his own rules. Rules don't apply to virus'. Get jabbed! Annoy all you care about to get jabbed. Humans can choose which rules to obey. They can believe what they want. A virus doesn't. A virus just toddles along... surviving, multiplying & mutating... not because it wants to. It just happens.

The late Marvin Lee Adair was an object lesson in believing the wrong people.
