Covid booster whilst taking Azithromycin

Has anyone had the covid booster jab whilst taking long-term azithromycin for asthma?

I had the AZ vaccine for first two and having Pfizer for booster and can’t seem to get a clear answer if okay to have whilst on this med. Already anxious of any side effect so don’t need the added lot

I was on Azithromycin for both my first & second vaccinations (Astra Zeneca). I wasn't taking it for an infection but as treatment for an asthma flare up. I would have thought that there would have been clear warnings published if any of the vaccines shouldn't be administered to a patient while they were on antibiotics or any other medication that would be affected by the vaccine or visa versa.

The National Foundation of Infectious Diseases (US) state, "COVID-19 vaccines do not influence or interact with antibiotics, so when indicated, antibiotics may be taken at any time relative to COVID-19 vaccine administration."

Hi, I’ve been taking 250mg azithromycin daily for several years, had AstraZeneca for first and second and had Pfizer booster back in October. I’ve been absolutely fine! I was just more anxious about catching covid! Take care

HiBeen on azithromycin for many years

1st and 2nd jags were AstraZeneca, booster was Pfizer.

No issues.

Hi, I've been on it 3 times a week for years and had 2 jabs of astra zenica and a 3rd jab of moderna. No issues at all. I didnt even think it would be. I take loads of other meds and have injections all the time. Speak to your Doctor if you are worried.
