think I've been placed on the naughty step but don't know why. The only reason I can think of is that I used a word that could be construed as a swear word but the context was something like this "as a child had exzema and asthma, so either itching and bloody, or coughing and wheezy" The bloody here is literal, not a swear word. As a child I didn't have the self control to stop scratching so would literally bleed and have to have my limbs straightened out in the morning. Don't know if this is down to human intervention or algorythms, but every time I post or respond since the warning comes up with guidelines etc.

I think it does that (at least from time to time if not every time, I can't remember!) for everyone 🤔 - like a reminder of guidelines rather than you've done something wrong.

I am sure that the word BLOODY is used in the bible and used as the gorry emition of blood from a persons body. Please correct me if I am incorrect, it depends on the context it used.

Yes I was using it in its literal sense, not as a swear word.

It will be a software programme most likely - we had very sophisticated stuff at work because of the nature of the job and we had to be super careful to avoid the most innocuous words, especially when using internal digital communications. Don't fret about it though. 🤗

I think that's actually meant to happen every time, for everyone - but it most often doesn't! It's pretty hit and miss when it comes up in reality, but in theory the moderators wanted to remind everyone of the rules before they post, after some instances where people were not following them. It doesn't however mean the person getting the pop-ups wasn't following rules.

I get a pop-up every time I link to another post or give the AUK nurse helpline number, because it thinks I'm giving my own phone number or similar out.

If you were on the naughty step and had actually been reported for breaking forum rules, even inadvertently, you'd be getting a nicely worded PM from the moderators with more details about what they were concerned about. Human moderators do read the post reports and look at posts, so even if someone did object to a word but you used it appropriately, they wouldn't be taking steps for just that.
