Is it possible to feel systemic side effects with an ICS if enough of the medicine stays in your mouth?
When i've used ICS in the past, I have noticed that rinsing with water or mouth wash isn't enough to avoid unpleasant side effects. I find that brushing my teeth is the key.
Can anyone else relate to this?

I've been on ICS since last summer and have only forgotten to rinse my mouth out once in all that time. I haven't had thrush, but I have noticed that my mouth is a lot more delicate than it used to be. However careful I am, I get big blood blisters when I eat anything crunchy like Ryvita or crisps, and sometimes with no obvious trauma. Some of them ulcerate and take a couple of weeks to heal. I've never had that before.
