Burning lungs when/after exercising. Anyone got suggestions?

I was diagnosed as asthmatic roughly one year ago, prior to which I was exercising 5 days a week. Following numerous medicine combinations, I finally got my asthma under control with Seretide 250 and Montelukast.

I am now able to exercise regularly, however I have had a burning sensation almost every session of running or weight training. My doctors have tried me on two different acid reflux meds, however neither of these have resolved the issues.

This sensation extends from my lungs to the top of my throat, and often leaves me feeling sick and dizzy post-workout.

Prior to being diagnosed with asthma I never had issues with the burning sensation, so I'm a bit lost to be honest. Does anyone have any suggestions or experiences like this? It would be great to be able to exercise to my full potential again.

Thanks in advance.
