Ive been threatened with an AntiSocial Injunction by Birmingham City Council North Housing. There is a question on the application thay asks if i have a disability. Karen says that i have asthma, arthritis etc but i have no disabities. Further evidence is that i dont get disability benefits. Obviously we have more educating to do.

Why has this happened? Have you been challenged for not wearing a mask? And who is Karen and what qualifications does she have to consider what is a disability or not?

I suggest to go get a one of those lanyards from your supermarket. Those sunflower ones if you've got hidden disability also get intouch with your local citizens advice bureau for advice the will help you.

Have you been sheilding if you have have you still got those letters from the government NHS, and your gp.

Also have a word with your gp he/she might be able to help you.

Good look

I'm unsure as to why you have been threatened with an anti social injunction? I agree with both replies so far. Best of luck in getting help and support.

This site has some good info in athma / disabilities you could share with them-

If the asthma is severe enough it surely is a disability. Anything that chronically prevents living a normal life without accommodations is a disability. Having to leave social groups, work, etc to take medication, if often or for long enough is also a disability.

''You aint got a disbility you aint' comin in'' Karen says NO.

This is ludicrous. I would kick up a real stink. Because to deny disability is disability discrimination. Failing to recognise a life limiting condition.

I dislike Council morons, due to very bad experiences.

council officer the OP mentioned. I was saying it as a joke, like the Little Britain sketch where computer says No.

I never watched Little Britain so that explains why. I have seen a lot of people mentioning Karen in a post and was unsure why

If the injunction is due to not wearing a mask, then the simplest thing would be to point them towards government guidance as this states that asthma sufferers are excluded. If that doesn't work, then talk to the press (bbc or local) as it would certainly be an interesting story for them.

I don't understand the connection between an antisocial injunction and housing?
