Chest infection???

I ended back on steroids again...I knew I needed them, but what is bothering me more is that when I lie down I can feel slight bubbling in my lungs& hear a funny kind of sound. Not when standing though. I have slight pain in my chest, but I thought that’s because of struggling so hard to breathe. I’m not coughing up any mucus...just once about a fortnight ago.

It could be nothing to worry about or something that needs sorting.

Either way if you get an answer it's better than being in the dark.

Whilst many of us may have similar symptoms you need to discuss with medics .

Do you lie quite flat, or propped up on pillows, Dee?? I need a stack of carefully placed pillows, to make a sort of wedge shape behind my back, shoulders n head to make breathing easier, especially when I have an asthma exacerbation or a lung infection. Really helps!

Hope your contact with your medics this week really helps too. 🌻🌿🌻 So difficult trying to sort things. Hope you’re better soon xx

I do lie quite flat...yes maybe I should add in an extra pillow until breathing is a bit better. Saying that, it’s getting better...the breathing I mean, but I still have a stupid cough that I need to keep clearing....not a Covid one as I’ve had it since a few weeks into shielding & would have had no chance to get coronavirus. I think it’s all asthma related... I was just having a panic about it being pneumonia again...although I don’t feel unwell, no temp, etc.

Will ask the nurse tomorrow! She’ll have blood results too.
