Fatigued/upper back pain
Hi Tch61, I don't have any back pain but fatigue and tiredness are my constantly enemy. I have severe asthma, and have always been fatigue since it got worse. But no back pain, only if I do absolutely nothing like walking and a bit yoga, if I don't move around than I get a stiff back.
Hope you find the reason for the back pain, have you tried some relaxing movements? Maybe it helps, if not Contact GP.
You take care and stay safe and well!! 🌹🌹🌹
Might be worth seeing a physiotherapist to address the upper back pain. Choose one who specialises in asthma. They will check out your breathing technique and posture and suggest the relevant exercise to help you. It's amazing what small changes can bring huge results.
I get upper back pain when I mentioned it to gp she said it was because I had a chest infection and that was why I had upper back pain. That's not to say that's the same with you but maybe. I was surprised
Hi. My sister is going through the upper back pain at the moment. She was told by gp it was her asthma that was causing it. They sent her some cocodamols but they dont seem to be having any effect. Dont know what to do.
Hi, I get pain across my shoulders and upper back after I’ve had an attack or during, assume it’s just my muscles being tense from the way I’m struggling to breathe!!! Hope this helps???
I think the pain comes from your lungs - remember they listen to your back as well as your chest when you're poorly. When your lungs are struggling, they do hurt. Time and the right medication should see the pain go away.
