Hi all,had my letter and text to say stay home for 12 weeks, have severe chronic asthma and high dose steroids also on reslizumab, son has moved out because was still going to work and didn’t want to risk bringing anything home(he’s now self isolating at another family member as got symptoms).wife is working from home she has diabetes so want to know if should be isolating with me for full 12 week’s and not going out at all as she’s in vulnerable category

Thanks Mark

Hi Mark, I would say whether your wife has had a letter or not, if if she can self isolate with you it would be in both your interests. The less contact either of you have with other people, the less the risk of contracting the disease. My husband has taken the decision to isolate with me, the criteria otherwise was too complicated. If your wife does go out she should then keep 2m from you, Sleep separately, clean bathroom and kitchen between each of you use it etc. My mental health is better knowing we are both safe together indoors - a real test of our marriage. Good luck
