I didn't get a letter but I got a text from my GP. That I am at risk, and should stay inside. And to be careful when going outside. As well that my nurse from hospital will call me regarding to my monthly injection next month.

Just call when you unsure GP or who wrote the letter. Take care and stay safe 🌹

I should imagine it would be the same whatever part of the country you live in. It tells you that you are an extreme risk of serious illness and that you have to stay at home for a minimum of 12 weeks. You must also be shielded if you share a home with someone, maintain distance etc

This is followed up with a succession of texts with further advice and a letter. GP gets in touch via text as well.

NHS Scotland is a little bit behind England as they are using a different approach to identify those patients who need to be in the sheilding group. As of today they said they will be contacting relevant patients so looks like you should expect notification soon.

I'm in England and have had a text telling me to stay in for 12 weeks followed by a letter with more details, including packing a hospital bag and what to put in it!

Hi Flossy

I received my letter through the week . One of the partners in my go also telephone to make sure I had plenty meds .

It gives you a mobile number to text and register as vulnerable ...

The general gist is ... don’t go out for 12 weeks , take exercise in the garden. If you develop a cough or temp .., phone 111 straight away .

Hopefully you will get one soon.

Xx
