Day 3 today. But already waking up my throat doesn’t feel as clogged so I do feel they are helping

I now use carbocisteine intermittently when I have a cold/chest infection to help shift the gunk but used to be on it daily when I was less controlled as I got asthmatic bronchitis. It really did seem to help me so hope it helps you

I use them since I was diagnosed with adult related asthma four years ago. Yes they do help thin out the gunk. Stay well xx

I take them for bronchiectasis and have found them very helpful. My mucus used to be thick and not easy to cough up but much better now.

I have not personally. But my client 92 with COPD was prescribed them. Yes they worked well. Do eat plain yogurt to help line your tummy.

But do take them they work quick. Just remembered I had pneumonia and was prescribed them many years ago. They are very good.. hope this helps you.

Thanks for this post - I have been coughing up thick gunk for the last few days to the point where I have been sick. The steroids and antibiotics are helping a bit, but it's scary when you're trying to breathe and all you can hear are gurgles!! Am seeing my asthma nurse next week for a follow up after this recent flare, and may ask if I can get these added to my prescription. Happy new year folks 😊 xx
