What's going on?

Help! Hi everyone. So I need to ask for opinions. My chest hasn't felt right for ages. I've just finished a week of prednisolone which helped with the finding it hard to breath part but my chest still feels not right. I've had plenty of chest infections to know what they feel like but this isn't the case. I keep having a aching feeling in my chest/back. I feel run down and glands are aching too. I've been pretty stressed lately with various things so wondering if this could be the root cause of why I'm feeling rubbish. I just don't fancy trying to get an appointment with my GP, again to be told there's nothing wrong, chest is clear... Only other thing I can think of is that my inhalers have given me thrush in my thoat/chest or that I've been using different muscles for a while.

Sorry for the babble but any thoughts appreciated x

Hi ♡

This sounds similar in slight to my current issue.

I was poorly with a chest infection a couple of weeks ago and was prescribed both antibiotics & steroids. I still felt naff even when I had finished the meds but got on with things for about two days I think THEN...

I had a HUGE panic attack and ended up on an extended script of steroids again. This is itself has had my anxiety running off the chain and my mind firing off in all kinds of directions!

I saw my asthma clinic as an urgent referral and had everything looked at, bloods, chest x ray, medical tweaks and additional therapy added.

I am current on the MART regime, so.. 200/6 - 2 puffs morning and night PLUS 2 puffs Spiriva Respimat and 10mg Montelukast, then if required 100/6 - 6 puffs available to use as a reliever.

Anxiety is still RIFE so praying when my steroids are finally tailored off by weds next week, I will feel much better ♡
