I have been on that inhaler for 3 years but never had arm tremors.

All inhalers come with is potential side effect really. For most people it calms down over time, others find it doesn’t so they switch to a different one (and then have no issues...). Depending how long you’ve been on it it’s either worth preserving with it to see if it calms, or going back to try something different. Every asthmatic is different and has a different response to certain drugs.

When I first started relvar I had minor tremors, now I have none. Prev on fostair I had big tremors initially but after a while they too calmed.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the info, I’ve been on it about 8 months and tremors just stared about a month ago x

If it’s just started after 7 months of use the inhalers it’s less likely to actually be the root cause. Inhaler side effects usually start up straight away (then calm), or after 4-6 weeks (whilst it builds in system and then can remain or calm again).

Hope that helps and that you find the cause of the issue.

I have a constant tremor. I drop things a lot. I think it's years of asthma treatment. My GP said not to worry about it. I think I have gotten used to it.

Hi Tray-ce

I get them all the time with my inhalers especially bricanyl , I don't like signing things after using it as people think I have the shakes because of alcohol lol .my daughter thinks it's funny.

I'm glad I saw this topic. Initially, somebody saw blotches on my forearms and said "I see you're using an inhaler". This surprised me as I thought it was just old age and a lack of fitness. Now I've seen this topic, It matches a second reaction I have had since using the inhalers and that is trembling of my left arm, which to be very honest, I put down to drinking too much ale!
