On Saturday 7th September i went to the out of hours with symptoms of a chest infection, so doctor listens to my chest and confirmed what i thought. She said it sounded like i had swallowed a crisp packet! So got given the usual Clarithromycin 500mg and prednisolone 40mg for one week. After finishing both courses i felt fine, my asthma symptoms improved and i felt great. But now i have started to develop the same symptoms again but i have a really bad pain when inhaling in my upper left back. I have shortness of breath also and my inhalers aren’t working. I am also on holiday in canada at the moment but am flying back home Wednesday 18th September. Is it safe for me to be flying!? Should i be worried?! Help!!!

Is there any way you could contact a doctor or maybe even see a chemist before you fly? Unless you are worried about having an asthma attack on the plane, it would probably be best to try to get home, but I don't want to give you bad medical advice. I would rather you confirmed it with a doctor or chemist first. I hope you get home safely.
