Do you get heartburn? That can be a trigger for some people as stomach acid can irritate the airways. Might be worth talking to your gp?

Yes, overeating when it’s something you really like, makes me “wheezy” but it passes as the food goes down 🤦‍♂️

I seem to only get triggered by stomach flu so I might have something similar. When I get the stomach bug it lasts like three months and I get bloating and a bunch of stomach issues and my breathing gets bad too. I think there’s definitely a relationship but haven’t figured it out as well. I did see something relating SIBO and asthma and you can get tested for that. I’m hoping to soon.

Yes and took me years to find out. Crisps and potatoes cause my asthma to get worse.

Yes l find that a large meal especially if it contains a lot of starch can make breathing difficult. Leaning back in a chair makes it worse as well. Drinking cold water fast can also affect breathing to a lesser extent. I think there is also a physical aspect to this involving the vagus nerve.
